This Privacy Policy explains how IMA Shield collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use the mobile application and related services.

IMA Shield is mission-critical emergency response software developed in support of IMA by Denken Technologies.

Data We Collect

  • Account details: name, username, email (optional), phone number
  • Authentication data required to sign in securely
  • Precise location during SOS and response workflows
  • Selected emergency contacts (when you grant Contacts permission)
  • Device push token for SOS notifications
  • SOS event metadata (alert type, time, status, related notes)

Why We Use Data

  • Account creation, login, and access control
  • Emergency alert delivery and coordination
  • Location-aware responder workflows
  • Operational reliability, troubleshooting, and safety auditing

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only as needed to operate emergency workflows, such as sending push notifications via Apple APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Retention and Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and handled with role-based access controls. Retention is managed per operational and compliance requirements.

Your Choices

  • You can manage app permissions in device Settings.
  • You may request account/data deletion.
